Art Technique Ideas for Fish with Feeling

Here are some art technique ideas using markers & water, texture rubbing, and oil pastel to create these beautiful fish with feelings.  This lesson is also a great way to use social and emotional learning in the art classroom.  Students will learn how to turn emotions into art using the Fish with Feelings drawing pages.  This lesson also provides some opportunities for students to do some writing.

A worried-looking cartoon fish. The fish has a checker pattern on its body and a big eye that is looking up. Color is added by using colored pencils over a texture plate to make a texture rubbing. The text says, "3 Lesson Ideas - Fish with Feelings."
