The 4 smaller banners (4 on the same page) can be printed and cut apart to display above a bulletin board or other narrow space in your room.  The include “I can” statements for Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Communication.

The large poster asks students to think about how an artist uses 21st Century Skills and would be good to use as a guide to critique and learn about a new artist.  (Print in black and white or color.) After introducing the new artist, ask students to find the answers to the questions on the poster.  I like to give them the “essential question” of, “How did this artist become famous?” to get them started thinking.

The next time students are learning about a new artist, you might want to introduce them to the idea of taking “Sketchnotes”.

I have a Sketchnotes Toolbox available in my TPT store as well.
