The large poster asks students to think about how an artist uses 21st Century Skills and would be good to use as a guide to critique and learn about a new artist. (Print in black and white or color.) After introducing the new artist, ask students to find the answers to the questions on the poster. I like to give them the “essential question” of, “How did this artist become famous?” to get them started thinking.
The next time students are learning about a new artist, you might want to introduce them to the idea of taking “Sketchnotes”.
I have a Sketchnotes Toolbox available in my TPT store as well.
