This lesson has a “portable” Prezi to introduce the idea of families and identity, drawing pages to help students design snowmen to represent their family members, and instructions for turning the drawings into snow globes using a clear plastic plate (the plate is optional, of course). I’ve also included a label, rubric, and a step-by-step instruction page to help students put the snow globe together. During this lesson, your students will practice skills used in an art critique (of famous paintings and their own work), drawing, painting, cutting, gluing, writing, and self-assessment.
See the Snowman Drawing Kit here. It’s included in this lesson, so don’t buy both.
