Description
Make your last art project one of the best (and easiest)!
Use these drawing sheets to create the word “ART” with letters that resemble wacky birds, or wacky monsters. This is a perfect art lesson for the front of student art portfolios (or sketchbooks). Instructions are given to make this a 1, 2 or 3-day project that will have your students carrying home their art portfolios in style and looking forward to doing this fun end (or beginning) of the year drawing project again next year.
What you get:
- Instructions (5 pages)
- Choices for Early Finishers (1 page)
- Student Drawing Handouts (7 pages)
- Sub Editable Instructions in WORD (2 pages)
These are the steps that I’ve used for this project and have found to be successful and fun for students. This art lesson is my the most student-requested project! This lesson can take 1, 2 or 3 days so it’s great for one of the last projects of the year.
As a bonus, I’ve added a Word file that contains the instructions for this art lesson that I’ve used as an art sub plan. I kept this in a Word file so that you can edit it to fit the needs of your classroom, supplies, and students. This will make quick work of getting ready for a sub with an art lesson that could be repeated for all your students!
