This lesson is based on the face images in Yayoi Kusama’s painting series “My Eternal Soul”, which inspired the design for the 2019, “Love Flies Up to the Sky”, Thanksgiving Day balloon.  This easy drawing lesson will fill your halls with colorful faces that could easily be combined to make a group project.

Students Can:

  • Make a timeline about Yayoi Kusama.
  • Color a portrait of Yayoi Kusama.
  • Color a picture of her balloon.
  • Draw a star face.
