 Robot Art Projects

Robots are such a great theme for an art lesson! Students can let their imaginations go wild while thinking of all kinds of tasks that robots can perform. Robot art projects also offer a chance to practice a few different lesson objectives, as the examples below demonstrate. In addition, look for robot art projects where students learn drawing skills, shading practice, 3D problem-solving skills, collaboration skills, and more! Without a doubt, your students will not only love doing a robot art project, but they will practice many valuable skills.

Robot Drawing Pages

Students used Robot Drawing Pages from Expressive Monkey as inspiration for these robot drawings.  In the finished examples below, you will see that students had a chance to practice some shading techniques with white chalk and graphite.

3D Robot Art Projects

I visited Alton Darby Elementary and art teacher Mrs. Bowers, recently. Students brought in boxes and containers from home and made 3D robots. So naturally, students used lots of problem-solving to construct these adorable robots. As you can see in the picture, students also included a label telling what their robot can do along with its name.

Collaborative Robot Art Project

Another robot art project that was going on in the Alton Darby classroom is this awesome collaborative robot.
